He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert "Dutch" Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Treda Greer Montgomery; his children, Robin Jones (Scott) of Bloomfield, Sheila Griffeth (Neil) of Lexington and Tim Montgomery (Vicky) of Bloomfield; and his sister Brenda Chesser of Taylorsville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
