He was predeceased by: his brothers, Anthony Ballard and Glen Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Katrina Moran Ballard; his sons, Ethan Ballard of Bardstown and Aiden Ballard of Bardstown; his parents, Jody Ballard and Nora Marie Ballard of Bardstown; his siblings, Karen Harmon (Jody) of Bardstown, Donna Smith (Robert) of Bardstown and Wayne Ballard (Rhonda) of St. Francis; and his sister-in-law Carol Ballard of Bardstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint Joseph Proto-Cathedral (310 W Stephen Foster Ave, Bardstown, KY 40004).
