She is survived by: her husband Earl Dawes; her children, Ronnie Mathis (Lou) and Karen Blaney Jones; her grandchildren, Brandie McGrew, Michael Blevins, John Mathis, Patrick Cundiff (Leslie), Rachael Cundiff, Macy Mathis, Ben Mathis, Connor Coleman and Jalin Cundiff; and her siblings, Linda Smith, Frances Weaver, Timmy Smith and Danny Smith.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bardstown Church of God (3903 Louisville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004).
