It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Dale Gritton of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Gritton and Margie Hahn Gritton; his brothers, Ernie Gritton and Paul Gritton (Teeny); and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Nutt and Jimmy Stamper.
He is survived by: his son Shannon Dale Gritton (Tiffiny Jenkins) of Bardstown; his fiancée Bethany Terrell of Bardstown; his grandchildren, Hunter Bryan, Jordan Bryan, Zackery Terrell and Jaden Kennedy; and his siblings, Barbara Nutt, Patsy Stamper and Billy Joe Gritton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barlow Funeral Home (2675 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
