He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Watts and Christine Watts; and his sister Peggy Dean Watts. He is survived by: his wife Sue Carolyn Shewmaker Watts of Bardstown; his sons, Mark Watts of Bloomfield, Michael Watts (Brandye) of Bloomfield and Jason Watts (Sharon) of Bardstown; and his sister Betty Jean Watts Coomer of Bardstown. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mill Creek Baptist Church (431 Poplar Flat Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the same location.
