We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, at the age of 97, Ruby Belle Taylor of Bardstown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nettie Mae Holderman Crouch; and her husband Huston Estell Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Judy Reynolds Semaria of Crestwood, KY, Linda Call (Ronnie) of Polk City, FL, Patsy Smith (Joe Paul) of Ball Ground, GA and Andy Taylor of Louisville; her grandchildren, Chad Reynolds (Lindsay), Micah Reynolds, Brandon Smith (Olivia), Adam Smith (Cheryl), Jacob Call (Sarah), Clayton Call (Alicia), Jonathan, Matthew Taylor and Paul Knopf (Dana); and her great grandchildren, Ashley Reynolds, Emma Thomas, Allison Reynolds, Baylen Smith (Emily), Dakota Smith, Savannah Call, Hunter Call, Wyatt Call, Scarlett Call, Huston Call, Ava Smith, Everett Smith, Easton Smith, Anderson Smith, Carson Knopf and Trenton Knopf.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to The National Fragile X Foundation.
