With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola McDonald of Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on June 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Fredwick Fox and Birdie Earl Steadman Fox; her husband John Robert McDonald; her brother John Emmet Fox; and her half-siblings, Harold Fox and Louise Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Johnson (Montey) of Bardstown, KY, John Fredrick McDonald (Sue) of Mesquite, NV and James Robert McDonald (Jody) of Peoria, IL; her grandchildren, Jason Johnson (Beth), Megan Crow (Chris) and Devon Sloan (Jesse); and her great grandchildren, Hayden Crow, Kelton Crow, Braxten Crow, Dhatri Sloan, Dallon Sloan and Jessa Sloan.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to be made to the Ilsley Christian Church.
