With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Lemieux of Bardstown, Kentucky, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert "Al" Lemieux and Mary "Hinkie" Hite Lemieux; her niece Laura Lemieux; and her brother-in-law Russ Edmonds. She is survived by: her children, Erin Simpson of Bardstown and Christopher Simpson (Katelyn) of Cox's Creek; her grandchildren, Ava Simpson, Michael Simpson, Lila Simpson and Levi Simpson; and her siblings, Jim Lemieux (Holly) of Bardstown, Vincent Lemieux (Jackie) of Lexington and Rachel Lemieux of Louisville.
