He was predeceased by: his parents, William Porter "Bill" and Geraldine Whitney; his stepparents, George M. and Jean Whitney; his half-brothers, Robert W. "Bob" Whitney and Andrew Madison "Drew" Whitney; and his grandmother D. Whitney.
He is survived by: his children, William Porter Whitney III (Angie) and Beth Clark (Ryan); his grandchildren, Gray, Graham Clark, Anna and Will Whitney; and his caregiver Kennethia Dimas.
