With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Wilson of Bardwell, Kentucky, born in Carlisle, Kentucky, who passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie George and Mary Elsey George; her husband Tommy J. Wilson; her children, Brenda Wooley, Tommy Ray Wilson of Bardwell, Terry Wilson and Tim Wilson; her children-in-law, Ann Wilson, Frayne Burgess and Paul Anderson; her siblings, Kathryn George, J. T. George, William George and Thomas George; her grandson Chad Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Michael Paul Rice and Heather Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Burgess of Cunningham, Mary Ellen Thomason (Joe) of Paducah, Gina Diesel (John) of Paducah, Eva Walker (Tim) of Paducah, Ted Wilson (Jan) of Tulsa, Okla and Tony Wilson (Kim) of Lexington; her sister Mona Moyers of Bardwell; and her grandchildren, Terrie Davis, Mary Jennett, Suzanne Clinton, Myra Reid, Becky Hicks, Julie Hook, Cindy Garrett, Bill Burgess, David Rambo, Christa Dubrock, Toby Thomason, Patrick Wilson, Amy Anderson, Katie Compton, Tyler Wilson, Kelli Mills and Bethany Jones. She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great grandchildren; two nephews and a niece.
