He was predeceased by: his former wife Brenda J. Rowland; his parents, Boyce Rowland and Eva Rowland; and his brother Robert W. Rowland. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rowland; his son Brian K. Rowland (Melody) of Payson, Arizona; his stepsons, Randy West (Lesa) of Spruce Pine and Russell West (Heather) of White Lake, Michigan; his siblings, TJ Hill of Mountain Home, Joyce C. Deemer of Henderson, Diania S. Murphy (Ben) of Henderson, Kentucky and Simon P. Rowland (Priscilla) of Henderson, Kentucky; and his granddaughters, Melissa Hanlon (Mike) of Fredericksburg and Emily Mertzweiler (Tim) of Emmett, Idaho. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and 10 step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell (41 US-51, Bardwell, KY 42023). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
