Janie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Janie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Buddy High; her sister Ruth Carrington; and her parents, Cecil King and Gracie King. She is survived by: her sons, Robert High (Karla) of Mayfield and Michael High of Bardwell; her sister Helen Maynard of Arlington, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Brandon High (Valerie) of Mayfield, Maegan Despain (Jeremiah) of Campbellsville and Erika High of Mayfield. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery.
