It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marshall Lynn Payne of Bardwell, Kentucky, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Marshall Lynn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marshall Lynn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his sister Brenda Puckett; and his parents, Marshall Payne and Lorene Shrodes. He is survived by: his daughter Misty Hodges of Ballard County; and his siblings, Paula Perry of Bardwell, Janis Owens of Bardwell and Terry Payne (Janet) of Bardwell. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell (41 US-51, Bardwell, KY 42023). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
