He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Perkins and Ellen Perkins (Penn); his children, Garren Perkins, Darraugh Ann Perkins and Gerrilyn Rivers Perkins; his siblings, Janrose Stafford (Perkins) and Robert Jerl Perkins; and his stepson Danny Viets.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Doris (Viets) of Barlow; his stepson Mark Viets of Barlow; his stepgrandson Josh Viets of Barlow; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Robert Viets and Emily Taylor; his grandsons, Garren Perkins, Jr., Christopher Fuentes and Deston Fuentes; his brother-in-law Henry Stafford; and his cousins, Alice Flowers, Melanie Heun of Paducah, Neal and Mary. He is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
