He was predeceased by : his parents, John Fox and Mae Fox (Clark); his children, Angela Fox Rose, Burnis and James Fox; and his siblings, Naomi Childers, Gwen Farmer, Bertha Frisby, Barbara Chrisman, Francis Shelton, Lottie Combs, Bobby Fox, Gerald Fox and Willie Fox.

He is survived by : his wife Carol Fox (Bell); his daughter Loretta Haddix (Fox); and his sisters, Sue Coby, Henrietta Miller and Sharon Johnson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members, and friends.
