He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Frye and Rhoda Becknell Frye; his son Kelly James Frye; and his siblings, Earl, Arthur B., Raymond Frye and Geneva Stapleton.
He is survived by: his son Clinton Frye, Jr. (Miranda); his brother Paul Frye (Geneva); and his former wife Joyce Ann Frye of Beattyville, Kentucky. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
