He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Louise Drake; and his granddaughter Amanda Joy Miracle. He is survived by: his children, Franklin Drake, Jr. (Pearl), Charles Ray Drake (Anita), Anna Louise Miracle (Thomas) and Richard Lee Drake (Kathy). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel (108 Center St, Beattyville, KY 41311). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
