She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Goe and Lilly Goe; her son Herman Griffin Jr.; and her siblings, Willis Goe, Gail and Gaithal Goe.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Nicole Smyth (Rick); her grandchildren, Nicole Griffin, Emily Brianna Smyth and Logan Carter Smyth; and her siblings, LaNev Tipton, Laverne Sumpter and Harold Goe.
