He is survived by: his wife Judy Parks Collins Wathen; his children, Kristy Pyles (Tom), Robert Parks (Jaimie) and Shannon Parks; his grandchildren, Logan, Eric, Anastasia, Jaden, Christopher, Kaleb and Joel; and his sisters, Janice Stephens (Allan) of Florence and Emily Wilson of Crittenden, Kentucky. He is also survived by grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel (108 Center St, Beattyville, KY 41311). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
