He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Young and Flora Castle; and his siblings, Floyd Richardson, Carol Baldwin, Brenda Horn, Sharon Ann Young, Roxanne Hammond, Donna Young and Evelyn Ayers.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mae Chapman Young; his daughter Whitney Harless III (Walter); and his grandchildren, Kaylee Stanley and Donna Adkins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
