He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster James and Corabel Bennett James; his daughter Janet Moore; and his brother Lee James. He is survived by: his wife Susan James; his son Trampas James (Sally); his grandchildren, Ashley Greer (Sam), Jalyn Moore, Alexis James, Brianna Carden (Austin) and Xavier James; his great grandchild J. Greer; and his brother Tommy James.
