It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Michael Murphy of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dennis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Murphy and Julia Bognar Murphy; and his son Billy Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Duke; his children, Julie Bayless (Mike), DJ Murphy (April) and Leanne Beasley (Jonathon); and his siblings, David Murphy (Kim) and Patric Murphy (Karen). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
