He was predeceased by : his father Kermit "Jim" Hurst; his sisters, Judith A. Hurst and Phyllis Shown; and his half-brother Jack Lane. He is survived by : his wife Frances Oller Hurst of Beaver Dam; his daughter Andrea Slack (Stephen D.) of Maceo; his sisters, Faye Swanson (Keith) of Morrison and Diana Hogan (Jon) of Griffin, Georgia; his brother-in-law Bob Shown of Beaver Dam; and his granddaughter Hannah Slack of Owensboro. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
