With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Sumner of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Jane Straub Sumner; his daughter Debra Ann; his parents, Harold Sumner and Louise Bellew Sumner; his sister Connie Ruston; his daughters, Becky Funk (David) and Jean Wright (Randall); his grandchildren, Amy Reed (Brandon), Cody Funk (Miranda), Lea Brown (Eric) and Sara Thompson (Ben); his great grandchildren, Savannah, Lexi, Holly, Brooklyn, Reisz, Jerry, Henry and Elizabeth; and his caregivers, Glenda, Annie, Sherry, Tammy, Angel, LeeAnne and Priscella.
