She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Dillender and Ovie Elizabeth Blades Dillender; her husband Roy Allen Townsley; and her sister Nancy Clark Hicks. She is survived by: her sons, Alan Townsley (Jamie) of Beaver Dam and Carmen Townsley of Owensboro; her granddaughter Carolyn Williamson (James) of Beaver Dam; her stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Hayes of Beaver Dam, Matthew Castorena of Beaver Dam and Lane Castorena of Beaver Dam; her niece Nila Edge of Owensboro; her great-nephew Tom Edge (Tara) of Edgewood; and her sister-in-law Holly Bolton of Jonesborough. She is also survived by her husband of 51 years, raising her two sons, and helping to raise her granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel (212 E Broadway, Livermore, KY 42352). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Sunnyside Cemetery.
