She was predeceased by: her husband Charles McCormick; and her brothers, Reathel Sorrells and Jerry Sorrells. She is survived by: her children, Donna Calhoun (Glen), Scott Daugherty (Tammy), David Daugherty (Elizabeth) and Eric Clothier (Robin); her grandchildren, Aaron Creek (Melissa), Shalen Walker (Rodney), Brandy Calhoun, Nathan Daugherty, Nichole Daugherty, Rachel Whyee (Jabari), Lauren Daugherty, Mackenzie Davis (Justin) and Trystan Clothier (Hadleigh); her siblings, T. C. Sorrells, Mary Tinnell (J. C.), Molly Johnson, Bobby Sorrells (Alta) and Shirley Swift (Joe); her daughter Chinwe Daugherty; and her stepsons, Ronnie Clothier, John Clothier, Michael Clothier, Tim Clothier and Richard Clothier. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab for their activities department.
