He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Cox and Sibyl Langford Cox; his brothers, Glenn Russell Cox, Robert Cox and Thomas Cox; his parents-in-law, Belvin and Corrine Coots; his siblings-in-law, Jerri Cox, Shirley Cox and Robert L. Bryant; and his nephew Cary D. Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Coots Cox of Beaver Dam; his sisters-in-law, Jean Cox of Lawrenceburg and Janet Bryant of Cromwell; his granddaughter Sierra (Raymond); his sibling's children, Jason Bryant (Pam) of Beaver Dam, Jamie Bryant (Lisa) of Beaver Dam, Barry Cox (Sue) of Morgantown, Celeste Robinson (Danny) of Lawrenceburg, Phillip Cox (Crystal) of Willisburg, Belinda Headen of Harrodsburg, Alan Cox (Donna) of Cottonwood, Becky Stoppenback (Michael) of Wisconsin and Lori Cox of Bloomington; and his pet Ellie Mae. He is also survived by great-great nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the William L. Danks Funeral Home (222 N Lafayette St, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at the Sunnyside Cemetery.
