She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Murray and Kittye Lee Maddox; her husband Dorman "Mutt" Jessie Erwin; her daughter Shirley Ann Young; her great grandchild Sophia Rose Erwin; her son Kenneth Bullock; and her brothers, Maurice, Lindel, Lofton and Joe Maddox.
She is survived by: her children, Linda May (John), Mike Erwin (Debbie) and Carolyn Porter; and her grandchildren, Phillip Farris, Troy Farris (Kim), Zachary Erwin (Sasha), Selena Abney (Kyle), Christopher Young (Mandy), Daphne Ralston (Shane), Susan Montgomery (Shannon), Bryce May (Melanie) and Derrick May. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Ohio County.
