He was predeceased by : his parents, Amos Starnes and Verda Myers Starnes; his daughters, Stacy Durham and Robin Foreman; and his siblings, Lecile Starnes, J. D. Starnes, George Starnes, Jiles Starnes and Ellouise Covington.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Starnes; and his children, Rex Starnes, Kevin Adams, Jarred Adams and Kim Geary. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
