It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger D. McKinney of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McKinney and Alta Barrow McKinney; and his siblings, Kenneth McKinney and Diane McKinney. He is survived by: his girlfriend Alice Coppage of Dundee; his children, Angela Mudd (Eddie) of Beaver Dam, Roger McKinney, Jr. of Drakesboro, Shelly McKinney (Blake Gorden) of Central City, Brandy Day (Trenton) of Beaver Dam and Cody Coppage of Dundee; his siblings, Phil McKinney and Darlene Ingram; his grandchildren, Angel Deweese, Anthony Shane Bishop, Mackenzie McKinney, Rosie McKinney, Ellie Mae McKinney, Maddison McKinney, Amberleigh Carden, Braxton Gardner, Paisley Gorden, Mia Day, Jacob Day and Buckley Day; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Brianna and Willow.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the William L. Danks Funeral Home (222 N Lafayette St, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
