He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Clinton and Edna Buck Embry; and his siblings, Joe and Sharon. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Embry; his children, William Embry (Harmony) of Beaver Dam, Joseph "Jay" Embry (Andrea) of Panama City, FL and Angie Kelly (William); his siblings, Fred Embry (Teresa) of Owensboro, Anthony "Yankee" Embry of Owensboro, Terry Embry of Calhoun and Rebecca Shouse of Utica; and his uncle Basil Embry. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, several step-sons, step-daughters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bevil Bros. Funeral Home (226 Louisville Rd, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (2700 Oak Ridge Rd, Morgantown, KY 42261).
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Ohio County Hospice or The Shriners.
