She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoover Johnson and Virginia Johnson; her sister Sharon Rowe (Larry); her grandmother Faye Marcum; and her son Darrell Ray Whitaker.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Whitaker; her children, Marcy Huggins (Steve), Micheal Whitman (Amanda), Heather Taylor (Jason), Holly Murphy (Douglas), Stacey Whitaker, Virginia Eleeshia Tong (Jason) and David Whitaker (Katie); and her sisters, Karen Ammon and Lollie Ammon (Joe). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
