Shirley Bass Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Bass of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, born in Boonville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald; her parents, Wymond Myers and Jessie Myers; her son Jeffrey; and her granddaughter Lauren Gerkins Marr.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Gerkins (Kyle) of Bowling Green and Amanda Shaffer (Justin) of Hartford, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, Ben Gerkins of Denton, Lucas Coomer, Amelia, Kaylee and Logan Shaffer of Hartford; her great grandchild Jackson Marr of Nicholasville; and her sister Debra Samples (Kevin). She is also survived by her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Shirley's memory be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42104.
