He is survived by: his sons, Glenn Akers (Elizabeth) of Beaver and John Akers (Violet) of Beaver; his grandchildren, Allie, Caleb, Noah, Cayson, Robert (Lynsie) and Joseph (Karina); and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jordan, Hudson, Hartlynn and Elijah.
