She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias B. and Virginia; her husband R. S. Tingle; her sons, Gary Wayne Tingle and Russell Shelton Tingle, Jr.; and her siblings, Anna Mae Thompson, Marjorie Wallace, Dorothy Brierly, Woodrow, Abie, Willie B. Logan, Charles, Jimmy and Robert Ricketts.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Snyder of LaGrange, JoAnn Higbie of Nabb, IN and James Rodney Tingle (Robbin) of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Dwain Purvis, Darren Purvis, Marsha Purvis, Hope Sizemore, Michael Justin Higbie, Susan Webb and Anthony Mashburn; Ricketts.
