He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Snyder of LaGrange, Kentucky; his niece Letha (Eddie Grimes) of Carrollton, Kentucky; and his great-nephews, Josh Grimes of Shepherdsville and Tyler Grimes of Daphne, Alabama. He is also survived by four great nephews and a great great niece.
