He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jade (Symantha Wheeler); his daughter Nancy Hudson of Louisville; his sister Doris Powell of St; his grandchildren, Lyra and Lane; his nieces, Diane Wheeler, Jan Powell and Jill Powell; and his nephew Dale Wheeler. He is also survived by family includes one son.
