He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anthony and Mamie Ellegood (Tingle); and his daughter Nancy Jane Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Joan Aldridge; his son William Ellegood; his children-in-law, Lynn Billeter-Ellegood of Turners Station, Kentucky and Ronny Lewis of Marysville, Indiana; and his grandsons, Darren Ellegood of Milton and Daniel Ellegood of Clemons. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Home (7101 Campbellsburg Rd, Campbellsburg, KY 40011). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
