She was predeceased by: her parents, Gussie Carter and Blanche Carter (Tackett); her son Brent Waugh; her granddaughter Kyla Waugh; and her brothers, Malcomb, Emerald and Rocky Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Waugh, Sr.; her sons, Charles, Jr. (Heather Waugh) and Reverend Bill (Catrice Waugh); and her daughter-in-law Amanda Waugh of Louisville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
