He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell B. Callis and Grace H. Wiley Callis; his son Michael Callis; his brother Charles "Chuck" Callis; his grandson Alex; and his sister-in-law Tammy Callis.
He is survived by: his wife Tanyia Garrett; his children, Tammy (Lance Hancock), Virginia, Jennifer (William Spillman) and Ronnie; his daughter-in-law Michelle Callis of Bedford; his brothers, Gary (Jackie Callis) and Terry (Virginia Callis); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Tanner, Billy Spillman, Samantha Callis and Drew.
