With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Porter Brooks of Bee Spring, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chatfield Brooks (Chat) and Ella Myrtle Brooks (Harp); and his siblings, Lawrence, Florence Brooks, Proctor, Virgil, Wren, Curtis, Amos Brooks, Stella Burba, Lestie Wilson, Rena Shreve and Dona Vincent.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Tommy Stevenson; his wife Christine Brooks of Bee Spring, KY; his children, Patty Brewer (John) of Bowling Green, KY and Doug Brooks (Denise); and his pets, Jan Bolton (Tommy) of Brownsville, KY, Lisa Stevenson of Bee Spring, KY and Scott Brooks (Kelli) of Smiths Grove, KY.. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
