He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Milten Searle and Thelma Louise Bromilow; his children, Jeffrey Searle and Melissa Searle; his sister Norma Jean Novak; and his stepfathers, Newton Duke Woodrow and Roger Bromilow.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Searle; his daughter Kristy James (Tony); his stepson Jason Embry; his sister Deborah Pastorios (Mike); and his granddaughter Felisha Houston. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
