He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hobt and Francis Hobt; his wife Sandy Hobt; and his sisters, Sherry Kues and Barbara Woosley.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hobt II (Jody), Nicole Miller (Shane), Jeff Olliges, Jennifer Olliges and Michelle Ritchason; his grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Caleb, Kaitlin, Ben, Taylor and Max; his great grandchildren, Lorelei and Ryleigh; his pet Paco; and his granddaughter Skylar.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home - Bellevue (241 Fairfield Ave, Bellevue, KY 41073). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society in honor of his loved ones that have passed to this terrible disease, at 1640 Lyndon Farms Court Suite 104.
