She was predeceased by: her husband R. L.; her parents, George Hurley and Olga Hurley (Roy "R. L." Parrott); and her sisters, Betty Evans, Lilly Ashcraft and Shirley "Honey" Jones.
She is survived by: her pet MissyMae; her children, Jerry Parrott and Tammy Thomas (Todd); her grandson Ryan Thomas (Kaitlyn); her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Lennon and Brooks Thomas; and her nieces, Alma Porter and Karen Daniels.
To honor her legacy the family asks memorial donations to be made to the S.A.A.P. Animal Rescue, PO Box 72040 Newport, KY 41072.
