He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Rothfuss and Catherine; his daughter Betsy West; and his siblings, Richard F. Rothfuss and Eleanor Rolfes.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Perin Rothfuss; and his children, Robert K. Rothfuss (Lynn), Richard M. Rothfuss (Catherine J.) and Amy K. Cauthen (Steve). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
