He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Katherine; his wife Geraldine Thoney; and his siblings, Irene Abbott, Raymond and Albert Thoney.
He is survived by: his daughter Janine Walz (Roger); his grandchildren, Scott (Jennie), Brian (Shannon), Jeff Walz (Lauren) and Jaime Richey (Bert); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Brady, Nicholas, Meghan, Ellie, Kaeley, Jacob, Jenna, Bailey, Lola and Lucy; his nephew Roger Thoney (Rita); his niece Carol Abbott; and his friends, Sarah Messmer and Lori Reinhart.
