With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marsha Gail Hughes of Benham, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Franks and Opal Templeton Franks; her husband Timothy Hughes; and her siblings, Leonard Franks and Alice "Sissy" Cornett.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Greene (Bobby) of Baxter, Brenda Young (Jeff) of North Carolina, Donna Cason (Jeremy) of West Virginia, Darrell Eversole (Shauna) of Pennsylvania, Timothy Hughes II of North Carolina and Lewis Hughes of North Carolina; her brother Jerry Franks of Dione; and her niece Amy Cornett Sigmond. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
