He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude McDonald and Rose Darnall Peck; his daughter Stacy Curtiss; and his siblings, Kathlene Cain, John Ed Barnes, Charlie Ray "Buddy" Barnes, Paul Barnes and Joe Pete Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Faye Smith McDonald of Benton; his son Mitchell McDonald of Benton; his grandchildren, Jordan Robertson (Jaron), Steven Curtiss (Mikaela), Anna Marie Curtiss (Abbi), Ty Curtiss (Olivia) and Tristan McDonald; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Curtiss, Corbin Brust and Connor Brust.
