With sadness, we share the passing of Catherine Ada McArtor of Benton, Kentucky. Catherine, born on October 26, 1935, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Justice Hester, Sr. and Ada Merdel Nix Hester; her husband Robert Brown McArtor; and her siblings, Virginia Hester and Michael Hester, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Beverly "Bev" Kassis (Dan) of Dixon, Tennessee, Jerry McArtor (Cindy) of Benton and Tony McArtor of Murray, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Ian McArtor (Becky), Cory McArtor (Adah), Brandon McArtor (Gabrie), Kayla Travis (Patrick), Trevor Kassis, Aidan Kassis and Brenna Kassis. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
