He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Earl and Dorothy Faye Williams Hergesheimer; and his sister Judy Young. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Terrell Hergesheimer of Benton; his daughter Jill Slayden of Paducah, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Carson Slayden of Murray, Kentucky, Cameron Slayden of Murray, Kentucky and Cooper Slayden of Benton.
